IKEA has released the sixth series of the 'Nytillverkad' collection, which reinterprets representative designs in a modern way. This collection, which will be released as a series starting in 2023 to commemorate IKEA's 80th anniversary, is characterized by a new composition of past designs with a modern sensibility. This series reinterprets furniture and textiles released in the 1960s to 1980s in a modern way, presenting them with sensational colors and shapes.
The core products of this collection are freestanding chairs, which reflect both practicality and design elements. The 'MOFALLA' steel tube easy chair is inspired by the 'COX' folding living room chair launched in 1978. The 'DYVLINGE' swivel armchair, a new interpretation of the 'MILA' easy chair designed in 1967, is launched in orange following black and green. The 'SOTENÄS' armchair, which was launched in 1969 under the name 'PUCK', was reborn in a strong red color.
The NOVETTE bench, first introduced in 1963, was transformed into the oak GUTTANE side table and coffee table. It features a unique shelf that prevents items from falling off the table. The curved glass vase SNURRA, launched in 1995, was re-launched under the name KÄLLARHALS, finished with a transparent lacquer in yellow and orange.
Inspired by the blue and white patterns of 1973, the 'ÄNGSVITVINGE' bedding features a dreamy blue cloud pattern printed on a white background. In addition, various textile products are included.
This collection can be purchased at all IKEA Korea stores, the official online mall, and through the app, and remote ordering service 'Hej phone order' is also available.
