LG's bendable 5K OLED monitor

LG Electronics is unveiling its new UltraGear GX9 series gaming monitors at CES 2025. The lineup includes the 45GX990A model, the world’s first bendable OLED display capable of supporting 5K2K resolution.

The UltraGear GX9 series features a curved WOLED panel for high brightness, deep blacks, and vivid colors. Low blue light emissions reduce eye fatigue during long-term use, and the screen’s anti-reflective coating maintains excellent readability even in bright environments.

The 45GX990A and 45GX950A models feature a 45-inch screen and 5K2K resolution, with a 21:9 screen ratio for an immersive experience. The dual-mode function allows switching between 21:9 and 16:9 ratios, screen size adjustment, and eight presets to provide the optimal setting for your environment. The 45GX990A can switch from a flat surface to a 900R curvature for flexible use, and the 0.03ms response speed supports smooth gameplay.

The 45GX950A features a fixed 800R curvature and thin bezel design to provide enhanced immersion and a stylish appearance. It features an RGWB subpixel array to improve text readability and supports DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C to be compatible with the latest graphics cards. It is certified with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync to reduce screen tearing.

The 39GX90SA model is a webOS-based smart gaming monitor that allows you to use streaming services without a PC or set-top box. The 39-inch curved OLED screen delivers deep blacks and rich colors, and the USB-C port allows you to connect various devices. A space-efficient L-shaped stand is also provided.
