Notion has released 'Notion AI', which improves the AI function. A new face appeared at the bottom right of Notion a while ago. The sophisticated illustration drawn with simple lines reminds me of the drawings in the famous magazine New Yorker. The face with a big nose makes various expressions whenever the AI function is used.
Unlike mobile app interfaces that felt like tangible tools, AI and robots can feel like people. Expressions such as “thinking” and “reading” in the areas where information is handled reinforce this feeling. It has been popular to talk to people in UX writing, but in the future, the design key for interfaces will be how well they contain “humanity.”
You can use the new Notion AI to improve the efficiency of your work projects. You can set writing principles and have it refine your writing accordingly. It can also interpret information from PDFs and images, so you can easily create summaries and extract insights. You can also ask questions directly, just like you would to existing AI chatbots.
You can also configure which source information AI will refer to. It can find answers directly in Notion itself or use engines such as GPT-4 and Claude to find answers. You can also connect to external services such as Slack, Google Cloud, and GitHub. You can configure in detail which information among various sources it will refer to and which information it will ignore.
Data in Notion is not used for model training, and you can specify detailed permissions for members. If you use the Enterprise plan, you can easily manage user groups and strengthen security with security, compliance, analytics, and auditing tools.
