NHN unveiled its new CI on the 1st, its anniversary. With the goal of becoming a global top-tier tech company, it collaborated with Muji's art director, Kenya Hara.
NHN, established in 2000 through the merger of Naver and Hangame, changed its name to NHN Entertainment in 2013 and then changed its name back to NHN. Starting out as a web board game platform, it has expanded into various services such as the easy payment service Payco, the webtoon service Comico, and the cloud solution Toast Cloud.
We created a new visual identity based on the slogan ‘Weaving New Play’ that was released in August last year.



The logo changed from an impression like a digital clock to a logo expressing physical properties. The keyword 'connection' expressed in a hyphen was inherited to express 'the direction of creating a new tomorrow through multidirectional connections.'
The concept was origami, which creates infinite possibilities depending on the folding direction. The two Ns in NHN were expressed by folding long pieces of paper vertically. The H in the center was also expressed with a long piece of paper of the same thickness. For simplicity and clarity, it was expressed in achromatic colors.
