Apple has announced the design award finalists. In celebration of WWDC24, which will be held from June 10 to June 14, we have announced the candidates for each category to select the best app design of the year.
Selections are made in seven fields: Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, Visuals and Graphics, and Spatial Computing. We selected three candidates divided into apps and games.
Delight and Fun Apps that provided enjoyable experiences were nominated, including America's Durel Draw, which provides a challenge to draw freely according to unique shapes, and New York Times' NYT Games, which allows you to play Wardle and Sudoku.

Inclusivity Some of the apps that provide great experiences for everyone include oko, which uses vibration and audio to indicate the status of light signals, and Crayola, which features neutral characters that cover a variety of skin colors, bodies, and pronouns, and includes narration for people with reading difficulties. Adventure was nominated.

Innovation This part is an app that provides a cutting-edge experience using Apple technology. Procreate Dream, which helps creative creators easily and simply turn their drawings into 2D animations, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, a high-end game that makes full use of the performance of iPhone and iPad, were nominated.

Interaction This app provides an intuitive and easy-to-use experience. Procreate Dream was nominated again, while Ark Browser, which presents a new type of browser experience, and Little Nightmare, which embodies the feeling of floating through a nightmare with an eerie atmosphere, were nominated.

Social Impact Parts are apps that improve your life in a meaningful way. Nominees include How We Feel, which helps manage emotions, and The Wreck, a visual novel about motherhood and sisterhood.

Visuals and Graphics Sunlitt, which elegantly expresses the position and changes of the sun, and P's Lie, a Korean action game that depicts a city with beautiful textures and delicate lighting, were nominated.

Spatial Computing This is an app that makes good use of Apple's AR space experience. Sky Guide, which lets you see stars, Synth Riders, a rhythm game, and Loona, a puzzle game where you put objects together with cozy and cute visuals, were among the nominees.
