Microsoft announced its 2022 Surface Event, sharing hardware and software updates.
The most impressive news is the new design tool Microsoft Designer. It uses OpenAI's Dall-E 2, which converts images, and is included in the Microsoft 365 suite. It is said that if the creator describes the image they want in words, the AI will automatically create the image and can even merge two images. If you apply in advance, you can use the free version when it is released. If you want to use advanced features, you need to use the 365 suite.
The Surface Pro 9 starts at $999 for the Intel-based and $1299 for the Arm-based. The device used to come in just one color: gray, but now you can choose from Platinum, Sapphire, Graphite, and Forest. They even made a limited edition color to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Surface. The Surface Studio 2, an all-in-one computer, adds a Thunderbolt 4 port. It’s said to be 50 percent faster, but it starts at $4299.99. That’s expensive.
