PhotoShoot, a studio photo production tool created by Google Labs

Google Labs has unveiled 'PhotoShoot,' a new feature for its free marketing tool, Pomelli.

Google Labs announced on February 19 that it has introduced a feature through the Pomeli update that transforms simple product photos into studio-quality images. This feature is designed to enable small and medium-sized businesses to more easily create marketing images with brand consistency.

Pomelli utilizes 'Business DNA,' which refers to a company's unique contextual information, and the image generation model 'Nano Banana.' Through this, it automatically transforms standard product photos owned by users into results similar to those taken in a professional studio.

The process is simple. First, upload photos of your products. It is fine even if the photos are not of high quality. Then, select a studio style or lifestyle template, or use the recommendation options. When you press the generate button, Pomelli creates an image that reflects your brand's color palette and atmosphere. Afterward, you can finalize the image by editing the details.

The generated images can be downloaded or saved to Business DNA for reuse in future campaign production. This helps build a consistent brand experience.

This update also includes an improved model that enhances image generation accuracy. It reflects prompts more precisely and allows for specific editing, such as changing the background to a forest. It also supports a feature that reinterprets images by referencing specific image styles.

Campaign creation capabilities have also been enhanced. Users can generate ad creatives based on website images and descriptions by directly uploading images to the campaign prompt or entering product URLs. For example, entering promotional text and a URL for a new necklace automatically generates promotional content that incorporates relevant images.

Pomelli is designed to produce marketing assets that maintain brand consistency without the need for a professional studio. It is expected to become a new alternative for businesses lacking digital marketing resources.
