Samsung Electronics unveiled its new Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, at CES 2026. Both products are designed to seamlessly integrate with interiors and operate flexibly within connected audio systems. Samsung explained that AI-based sound processing automatically adjusts bass and spatial awareness based on placement and spatial conditions.
The design was developed in collaboration with French designer Erwan Bouroullec. The circular dot motif on the front is an abstract symbol reminiscent of the dots on a musical score, positioning the speaker as an object between furniture, sculpture, and musical instrument.
The top-of-the-line Music Studio 7 model achieves spatial audio with a single body. Its 3.1.1-channel configuration utilizes top, front, left, and right drivers, and it employs pattern control technology to reduce signal overlap between channels. Low-frequency distortion is reduced with AI Dynamic Bass Control. It reportedly supports high-resolution audio sources at up to 24-bit/96kHz.
The Music Studio 5 is a model that emphasizes visual stability in a smaller size. It features a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters, integrated with a waveguide for balance, and AI bass control for added depth.
Both products also present a strategy of integrating speakers and TVs into a single, distributed sound field through Q Symphony and SmartThings. Rather than emanating from a single point, the sound is structured to spread throughout the room like layers, creating an ecosystem that expands as needed. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
