Apple's September Event 'Awe Dropping' Invitation

Apple has officially confirmed the date for its 2025 fall event. The event, to be held on Tuesday, September 9th at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (2 a.m. Korean time on the 10th), at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, has been invited with the tagline "Awe Dropping." The event will also be live-streamed worldwide on the Apple website and YouTube.

The event graphics, featuring a blue and orange design reminiscent of a thermal camera, were released online alongside the event invitation, along with an interactive version. This suggests they could be linked to the upcoming iPhone colors. Rumors suggest the iPhone 17 Pro models could be available in orange and dark blue, while the iPhone 17 Air could be available in light blue.

Apple's September event is traditionally known for unveiling the next generation of iPhones. This year, the iPhone 17 series is expected to be the centerpiece. In addition to the standard and Pro models, a new, ultra-slim version, the iPhone 17 Air, is likely to be unveiled. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, measuring just 5.5mm thick, and is expected to feature a 6.6-inch screen and a single rear camera. All iPhone 17 models are also expected to feature the next-generation A19 chip and a 120Hz refresh rate display. The Pro model is likely to feature a redesigned bar-shaped camera module and an aluminum frame.

Along with the iPhone, a new Apple Watch lineup will also be unveiled. The Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 will all be updated simultaneously, marking the first time in three years that the entire lineup will be revamped simultaneously. The Apple Watch Ultra 3, in particular, is said to feature a larger screen and faster charging.

There's also a strong possibility that the AirPods Pro 3 will be announced. The new model is expected to feature a more compact design, a new audio chip, touch controls, and improved noise cancellation. There's also the possibility of a new HomePod mini and an upgraded Apple TV 4K model.

On the software side, official release dates for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, and watchOS 26 are expected to be announced. Apple has traditionally released its latest operating systems shortly after the iPhone's release.
