Fujifilm officially announced the high-end compact camera X100VI. This is the 6th model in the X100 series, a follow-up to the X100V, which created a trend with its retro camera design.

It is a mirrorless camera that is small and light so you can carry it anywhere, anytime. It's great for taking daily snaps when you want to take better photos than with a smartphone but don't feel comfortable using a high-end camera. Fujifilm maintained the attractive classic camera design while improving performance to make it easier to carry around every day. The image sensor and engine have been improved while maintaining the hybrid viewfinder and structure.

A 90th anniversary limited edition was also released. The brand logo from the time of founding in 1934 was engraved. Your camera will be engraved with a unique serial number and you will also receive a package containing an exclusive strap and a Fujifilm history card. The limited edition can only be ordered directly from Fujifilm.

The LCD display is tiltable and can be adjusted to an angle of up to 45 degrees. The lens is fixedly mounted at 23mm F2, the same as the previous series X100V. Autofocus has been improved. You can also use 20 classic film filters. Up to 6.2K/30P video recording is possible, and 4K/60P and 1080/240P recording are also supported.
Colors available are silver and black. Scheduled to be sold in March, the price of the regular edition is $1,599 and the limited edition is $1,999.
