The most frequently mentioned point at the first meetup was that it was “great to hear directly from working designers about their experiences using AI.” Participants said that they were able to confirm similar concerns by sharing how they are adopting AI in their respective work environments and the challenges they face.
The biggest regret was that there wasn't enough time.
The short time allotted for team discussions made it difficult to share individual cases in depth, and there was also a suggestion that it would be better to have more opportunities to interact with other teams.
Based on these opinions, we plan to focus more on interaction among participants than on speaker presentations at this meetup.
We plan to form teams based on topics of interest to share more specific practical insights, such as AI utilization workflows, design process application cases, Figma MCP, and the transition from design systems to AI.
Please be sure to answer the pre-question to form a team. To allow for waiting list participants, your attendance may be cancelled if you do not submit the pre-question within a certain period.

A design leader who has achieved results at every stage of a startup from start to finish.
From being the first designer at a startup to directing the design of a team of 200, I've created design impact at every stage. My goal is to help people experience the world through design in a richer and more engaging way, and to create a design language that everyone can understand.
My first startup was co-founding Lineable, an IoT-based startup that uses Bluetooth location technology to prevent lost children. Later, I designed products and brands for Our Table, a service that provides special recipes for special occasions. Later, I joined the travel startup My Real Trip as a product designer and led the design team there. I also served as Head of Design at Healing Paper, which provides services for Gangnam Unnies. I currently run the design media company "Design Compass.".
Suitable for designers, planners, and design leaders who are considering how to apply AI to design work.
Both those who are already actively using AI and those who are just beginning to use it in earnest are welcome to participate. The important thing is not learning the right answers, but being ready to share your own attempts and concerns.
Yes. It is not a position where you must know how to use advanced AI to participate.
However, if you contemplate and attempt to apply AI to your work, you can gain much more.
This is not a class where you learn how to use a specific tool step-by-step.
Instead, this is an opportunity to gain insights into how AI is being used in actual design work, which tasks it was effective for, where limitations were encountered, and what can be experimented with in the future.
It is necessary. It is okay if it is not a success story. It is sufficient to say something like, “I tried writing it this way,” “This part didn’t work well,” or “The team is having these concerns.” This meetup is not a place to show off success, but a place to share each other’s attempts.
You just need to speak within the scope of what can be disclosed.
There is no need to disclose specific project names, client names, or internal data. It is sufficient to share only the type of work, usage methods, and the structure of the considerations.
You can participate.
However, the central theme of the meetup is design work and the application of AI. It can be helpful for those who collaborate with designers or require design judgment while working in product, brand, content, planning, marketing, or other product-related fields.
At the end of the meetup, each person summarizes “what they learned today” and “actions to try next.”.
The goal is not simply to stop at hearing good advice, but to determine small actions that can be immediately tested in my work.
No special preparations are required. However, experience solving problems using AI is necessary.
As real-time conversation and sharing of attendees are important aspects of this event, a recording will not be provided.
