This is the brand design for Chateau Engalin, a gastronomic space in Toulouse. We collaborated with Pentagram.
This space is operated based on the multicultural background and hospitality philosophy of Chef and Owner Marwan Badran, serving as a venue for diverse experiences ranging from quiet dinners to large-scale festivals. The brand's challenge was to capture both the elegance of a traditional French château and a free-spirited, modern energy.
The design originated from the concept of 'sauce.' Just as sauce connects different ingredients to enhance their quality, it was utilized as a symbol to unite diverse cultures and atmospheres. We established a custom letterform and a flexible graphic system, and applied kitchen-inspired colors such as Pistachio Green, Sumak Red, Grilled Orange, and Squid Ink Black. This is a hospitality branding example that captures both the elegance of the space and the vibrancy of a festival.
