This is the first After Effects template created by Velvele, a studio based in Istanbul, Turkey. It began by chance while working on motion design for Bubilet, Turkey's leading ticket booking platform, and was inspired to experiment with "liquid" visual effects.
"After a month of R&D, we've finalized the template. We've tried to simplify it so anyone can use it, but it's still complex. Because it's experimental, we're continuously evolving it based on user feedback," explains Çağıl Barak, Director of Belbel.
This template isn't a one-click solution. It's designed as a playground for creative exploration, allowing you to explore a variety of creative possibilities, including logo animations, dynamic transitions, and experimental layouts. Within the template, over 100 layers of controls are intricately intertwined, and countless effects are combined to enhance the visual experience. A key contributor is Valeryia Harasimava, who meticulously refined the complex settings, enhancing the overall quality.
Belbel has previously created numerous templates to enhance work efficiency. However, this "Liquid Glass" project focuses more on design experimentation and trend exploration than simply speeding up workflow. It's described as a tool for motion graphic designers, branding directors, video creators, and anyone else who wants to explore cutting-edge aesthetics.
Charl Barak's assessment of Apple is clear: "Like it or not, Apple still sets the standard for the creative industry. We design on Macs, shoot on iPhones, listen to music on AirPods, and watch on Apple TV. Keeping up with this trend isn't an option; it's a necessity."
