Cafe24 Rebranding, Connecting with Possibilities

Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 has unveiled a new identity through a brand renewal. This rebranding project was carried out in collaboration with design studio Ordinary People. Ordinary People focused on redefining the brand's core values based on Cafe24's brand essence of 'supporting and connecting possibilities' and visualizing them.

The core of this rebranding is the delivery of a clear philosophy and vision centered around the slogan, ‘Idea is Business.’ We clearly defined Cafe24’s role as a platform that helps creative ideas expand into actual businesses, and reflected this message throughout the brand identity.

The newly designed key visual is composed of a design language centered on 'connection', the essential value of Cafe24. This visually reveals that the brand acts as a mediator connecting creators and markets, technology and people, and online and offline. This visual system, consisting of connecting lines, shapes, and patterns, is flexibly applied to various situations and media and functions as an expandable graphic tool.

In particular, at the center of this project is a graphic generator developed exclusively for Cafe24. This generator is designed to automatically generate various visual elements within the brand, and plays a key role in maintaining consistent visual communication across the global commerce platform operated by Cafe24. It is notable that it is designed to actively respond to communication situations that occur in various languages and cultures.
