Brand design for ALT Games, a new festival celebrating independent game creators and indie game design culture in Sydney, Australia. Hosted at Sydney’s powerhouse museum PHIVE, it showcases creative and experimental interactive media.
Design agency dia studio developed a strong visual identity centered around a custom logotype and black and neon green color palette inspired by game controller icons. Capturing the energy and DIY spirit of the indie gaming community, the brand expanded across print, digital, and motion, while adding generative patterns inspired by Conway’s life game to create a dynamic, systems-based visual language.
