I heard about the way Apple works indirectly, but I've never read a book about it, so I chose it lightly.
This is a book that gives you a quick glimpse into how 'simplicity' is applied in actual work. The story is told with a focus on marketing cases from the time when Apple was resurrected by Steve Jobs after its fall. It explains how Apple kept things simple from a management, decision-making, and strategy perspective, compared to large corporations (mainly Intel) that made unnecessary preparations and made decisions slowly.
Although there is some directing and self-praise aimed at highlighting influential cases, this is a book that allows you to quickly look at the value 'simplicity' that Apple pursues to provide a better experience. What I remember are Jobs’ ‘Simple Stick’ and ‘Jobs was hit.’
