Nick Liefhever's illustrations 'Secret Herb Garden in the Woods'. Inspired by medieval mystical nature, he weaves tapestries to interpret powerful events in a new way. These works are hand-screen printed on rough warm white paper in four colours: golden yellow, royal ice blue, radial pink and deep black.
“The fortress lay in ruins, watching the sky fall and the world grow stronger. The cavalry decided to ride over the hills in the stillness of the night. They grew restless in the depths of the fortress… muttering, wailing, pacing back and forth. Even the warlocks failed to hold the walls together, and they were losing control. Fortunately, the horses were strong and well-fed, so they knew what to do.”
