The power of a brand that can be seen even with just a line

French design team Loop Studio has a new project One Line Famous LogosLed by Stephan Leopold, the team has gained worldwide recognition for their minimalist line art, and for this project they have reinterpreted the well-known logo with a single line.

The series is based on the concept of drawing an iconic logo with a single, unbroken line. Although it may seem simple on the surface, the result transforms the logo into a visual puzzle that starts a new conversation with the viewer. “When you express a universally familiar logo with a single line, there comes a moment when the existing image is recognized in a new way,” said Stephan Leopold.

The project is completed through a thorough balancing act between aesthetic balance and abstraction. “Within the constraints of using only continuous lines, it is necessary to boldly omit unnecessary elements and leave only the essence of the logo,” Leopold explained. “The satisfaction that comes from the finished image makes the process worthwhile.”

Through this project, Loop Studio reimagined world-famous logos such as Nike, Google, and Louis Vuitton. Already simplified logos such as Apple and Instagram were expressed in a more minimal form, while designs with many curves such as Coca-Cola and Ford were reborn as more dynamic images. In the process, the essence of the logo was preserved while the sophistication and creativity of the original design were further highlighted.
