Netflix plans to open new offline spaces for fans, "Netflix House," in Philadelphia and Dallas this year. This marks a significant move for Netflix, which has grown primarily through its streaming service, as it enters the offline experiential entertainment market in earnest.
The Philadelphia location will open on November 12th at the King of Prussia Mall, and the Dallas location will open on December 11th at the Galleria Dallas. A third location is planned for the Las Vegas Strip in 2027. Admission is free, and inside, fans can enjoy a variety of free and paid experiences. Fans can participate in immersive programs based on popular titles like "Wednesday," "One Piece," "Stranger Things," and "Squid Game," as well as experience VR games, mini golf, arcade games, movie theaters, and the "Netflix Bite" restaurant.
The Philadelphia location will feature "Wednesday: Outcast Eve" and "One Piece: Devil Fruit Exploration." Additionally, a nine-hole mini golf course and "To Doom Theater" themed around popular titles will be available. The Dallas location will feature "Stranger Things: Escape from the Darkness" and "Squid Game: Trial Survival," as well as a game room featuring Netflix original content called "Netflix Replay."
Netflix House is our first permanent space, expanding on our existing pop-up experiences. It builds on our experience hosting experiential events for over 40 titles, including "Bridgerton," "Money Heist," and "Calamari." Netflix Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee stated, "This is a place where viewers can experience, savor, and enjoy the stories they love firsthand. We will continue to offer new experiences that reflect the culture and charm of each city."
Paid experience tickets will go on pre-sale for the Philadelphia location starting October 17th and the Dallas location starting November 18th. The Las Vegas location is slated to open in 2027. The industry is watching closely to see whether Netflix House can move beyond a simple offline promotional tool and establish itself as a Netflix-style offline platform that reinterprets theater and theme park culture.
