Teenage Engineering has launched the portable performance microphone 'EP\u20132350 FX\u2013MIC'. Unveiled in August 2026, the product is priced at $59. It combines effects and sampler functions with a standard voice input microphone. The company describes it as a device that intentionally produces a lo-fi sound rather than emphasizing sound quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The microphone comes with four basic voice effects: Echo, Echo+Spring, Pixie, and Robot. The effect parameters can be changed in real-time based on how much the lever on the handle is pressed. It also supports a feature that links shaking the device to the effect changes. Pressing the button allows you to immediately play samples stored in the microphone. The default samples are a horn, applause, ringside bell, and inspection beep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four sample slots can be manually replaced with WAV files by the user. The storage space is approximately 1MB. Deeper settings have also been enabled. The white plastic body, exposed buttons, and lever structure continue the visual language of the EP series.
