Apple has unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the 'iPhone Duo'. It is a product that expands the single-screen structure maintained since the first iPhone in 2007 into a folding form. When folded, it uses a 5.4-inch external screen, and when unfolded, a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display appears. Both screens use the same aspect ratio, designed so that the size and layout of content flow naturally when the device is unfolded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Duo is the thinnest iPhone ever, measuring 5.2mm in thickness when unfolded. It features a Grade 5 titanium frame and hinge cover and weighs 254g. The internal display features a Nano-texture finish to reduce reflections, a choice made to minimize visual interference in the center of the folding screen. The interface of iOS 27 has also changed to match the foldable structure. You can run two apps simultaneously on the 7.6-inch screen, and the interface changes depending on the angle at which the device is partially folded to stand or unfolded like a book. Apple Pencil is also supported. Duo Preview, which utilizes the external screen as a camera preview, and a feature that allows simultaneous shooting of the front and rear cameras have also been added. It is equipped with the A20 Pro chip, dual batteries, and a vapor chamber cooling system. The camera system consists of a 48MP main lens and a 48MP ultrawide lens. It comes in two colors: Star White and Night Sky. Domestic prices start at 3.29 million won for the 256GB model and 5.09 million won for the 2TB model.
