Dochihak is a character composed of a hedgehog named &#039;Dochi&#039; and a crane named &#039;Hak.&#039; Baemin announced that it will utilize Dochihak across the entire brand, including services, marketing, and content, starting September 7, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study of hedgehogs originated from hedgehogs and cranes, which were used in traditional Korean folk paintings as motifs to wish for good fortune. Hedgehogs are associated with stories of carrying fruits or vegetables on their spines. Cranes have been treated as animals symbolizing longevity and sacred existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The names utilize a wordplay where the two words sound like &quot;arrival&quot; when read quickly. This approach captures the entire experience of a delivery, from departure to arrival, within the characters&#039; names. Their forms are also simple. The hedgehog is depicted with a body resembling a star and small black eyes, while the crane is portrayed with an elongated body, a beak, and a spotted head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dochihak has been appearing on the Baemin app screen, in promotions, and at internal events since last April. Baemin plans to consider integrating it with its existing character, &#039;Baedali,&#039; in the future.
