According to the released TypeHelper introduction, the work was handled by the Copenhagen-based design studio e-Types, and the exclusive typeface was created by Playtype. The direction is rooted in the Danish sign painting tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Klasselotteriet is an old Danish lottery that began in 1753. In 2022, it was combined with Danske Spil. Because of this background, the brand lettering is used as an element that addresses both history and everyday life, rather than as mere decoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The typeface is based on the rhythm of hand-drawn signboard lettering. The strokes are neat but not entirely neutral. The curves and widths possess a movement that evokes traces of manual work. Even in the numbers and short phrases, impressions of lottery numbers, street signs, and public markings overlap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Playtype is a Copenhagen-based type foundry that has been creating custom typefaces for brands. They have also worked on Danish public signage typefaces and historical street signs.
