If a user describes a shape using everyday language, such as \u201cthe dark translucent background behind a popup,\u201d it searches for related UI terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Search results display the full name, a simple description, and the API or standard properties used in the code. It also provides prompts that you can paste directly into the coding agent. Currently, it covers a total of 76 items, including 44 web UIs and 32 macOS UIs. You can view visual examples of elements with hard-to-remember names, such as toasts, screams, insert carets, combo boxes, and focus rings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also provides a feature to compare concepts that are easily confused with one another. It distinguishes the differences between popovers and tooltips, modals and drawers, and tabs and segmented controls based on their operation and usage context. Each term is verified against platform documentation and web standards, including Apple Human Interface Guidelines, WAI-ARIA, WCAG, WHATWG, and MDN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This service focuses on the common language required during the process of creating interfaces using generative AI. When a user inputs ambiguous expressions, it converts them into design terms and implementation languages.
