Zonder Studio designed the brand identity for Veritas Park, which is regenerating a former sewing machine factory in Wittenberge, Germany, into a new urban district. Once the largest sewing machine production facility in Europe, it ceased operations in 1991 following the reunification of Germany. Veritas is transforming this long-neglected industrial heritage into a new urban space where residential, work, culture, and research coexist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The identity adopted 'Forever Evolving' as its core message. The logo originated from the largest freestanding clock tower on the European continent, located on the factory site. The circular structure of the clock and graphic elements reminiscent of clock hands express the flow of time and ceaseless change. By establishing the brand before the physical space was completed, it preserved traces of the past while capturing the potential of the place as it evolves in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The color palette was derived from Wittenberger's architecture and surrounding environment, consisting of a continuously evolving system rather than a single fixed palette. It utilizes Ulrich Sans, HansHand, and ABC Diatype, along with a custom wordmark created by Englei Studios. These typefaces, with their distinct characteristics, traverse the historicity of industrial heritage, the spontaneous energy of the city, and the functionality required for the signage system, flexibly expanding the identity of this unfinished place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
