Search Profile is a feature that gathers content scattered across various platforms into a single profile within Google Search and Discover. You can organize accounts, posts, links, and representative content from external platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creator Hub that appears within search results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Search Profile is linked to the Knowledge Panel displayed in search results. When users search for a creator&#039;s name or handle, their profile picture, bio, recent posts, platform links, and pinned content may appear in a more structured format. If a Knowledge Panel already exists, setting up a Search Profile adds an avatar, recent content, and profile links. If a Knowledge Panel does not exist, a new one may be created after establishing a Search Profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creators can pin up to 8 featured posts and add up to 8 links. They can suggest edits to their name and bio, and check how their content performs in Search and Discover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It is not a feature available to everyone.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, Search Profile is available only in the United States. Google has stated that it plans to expand to other countries in the future. The eligibility requirements are also strict. You must have at least 100,000 subscribers or followers on YouTube, Instagram, or X. If you only connect TikTok, a minimum of 300,000 followers is required. To create a profile, you must be at least 18 years old, and your content must comply with Google&#039;s policy guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you already have a Search Profile automatically created by Google, you can claim ownership. In this case, you must log in with your linked platform account to verify your identity. In some cases, you may be required to provide an ID and selfie verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Between Linktree and Knowledge Panel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Search Profile serves a similar role to &#039;link aggregation&#039; services like Linktree. However, the difference lies in its placement. Instead of sending users to a separate page, it can be discovered directly within Google Search and Discover. The Verge described this feature as \u2018a function that allows creators to manage search results pages more directly.\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Google&#039;s perspective, it allows search results to be made more like a social feed. From a creator&#039;s perspective, search results simultaneously serve as a portfolio, a link hub, and a feed for the latest content.
