If a user enters the videos they want to watch in a sentence, YouTube generates a video feed that matches those criteria.

For example, you can enter things like “meditation videos under 10 minutes” or “long technical podcasts covering AI.” The generated feed can be pinned to the top of the YouTube home screen. You can also readjust the feed's direction later by modifying the prompt. It was reported that this feed continuously refreshes, and saved feeds are displayed as chips at the top of the home screen.

Currently, this feature is available to logged-in users in the United States. It is available in English and works on the mobile app and desktop. View history and search history must be enabled. Users can access the feature from the “Your custom feed” tab on the home screen.

This update is closer to a method where users directly adjust the recommendation algorithm. The existing YouTube home feed was automatically configured by watch history and the recommendation system. The new feature allows users to verbally input the topic, length, and mood they want to watch right now.

Users may change how they browse videos. Instead of deleting videos they are not interested in one by one by marking them as “not interested,” they can create new feeds tailored to their preferences. This is particularly noticeable in purposeful uses, such as learning, exercise, music, or browsing long videos.

However, it is not yet a full release feature. The schedule for availability in Korea has also not been announced. Currently, it is closer to an initial feature focused on US and English-speaking users.

More and Sources

https://support.google.com/youtube/thread/436892232/introducing-a-new-discovery-experience-designed-by-you?hl=en&utm_source=chatgpt.com

[4,621

post-64405","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-service
"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":
["GET
