BEAMS' lifestyle label, bPr BEAMS, has teamed up with Braun to unveil a 50th-anniversary collaboration. Scheduled for release on March 26, 2026, this collaboration consists of two models: the BC02X alarm clock and the BN0279 automatic watch. BEAMS has introduced this project as a special limited-edition line commemorating its 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration is eye-catching because it clearly incorporates BEAMS's unique style while maintaining Braun's minimalist industrial design language. The BC02X applies red, green, and yellow\u2014colors reminiscent of Braun products\u2014to the hour, minute, and second hands. Additionally, BEAMS's signature orange color has been added to the light, snooze button, and alarm hand. The key lies in a composition that creates a distinct look without compromising Braun's characteristic restrained forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BN0279 is also interesting. Beams described this model as the first watch line in which Braun has adopted a Swiss-made mechanical movement. Based on Braun's signature clean watch design, it highlights the nature of a limited collaboration by adding color accents to the seconds hand and indices. According to the official Braun store, the BN0279 is a Swiss-made automatic watch featuring a 40mm case, sapphire glass, and a rubber strap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BC02X BEAMS 50th Anniversary Limited Edition is priced at 6,050 yen. The BN0279 BEAMS 50th Anniversary Limited Edition is set at 187,000 yen. One is closer to an accessible object to enjoy on a desk, while the other is closer to a mechanical watch aimed at collectors. In essence, both an entry-level and a high-end model have been released within the same collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
