Instead of a retrospective or commemorative book, B&O has unveiled the Beolab 90 Phantom and Mirage editions, encapsulating its design philosophy and craftsmanship. These two models aren't just new colors; they're part of a five-part Atelier series, each limited to just 10 pairs worldwide, and they're notable for their exquisite materials and finishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018The Phantom Edition boasts a groundbreaking design that looks like it came straight out of a science fiction film. The classic fabric cover that encased the original BeoLab 90 has been removed, replaced by a custom-designed black metal mesh. The coated stainless steel mesh creates a holographic visual effect, discreetly revealing the powerful driver units hidden beneath, much like a sapphire watch caseback. The aluminum frame has a pearl-blasted finish, and the unified structural beams and precision-machined trim details attest to the hundreds of hours of craftsmanship that went into each pair.
