This is a brand design created by American healthcare brand Trellis in collaboration with design studio How & How.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American healthcare system can often feel like a complex maze, especially for mothers caring for children. With hospital appointments, medical records, and family health information all managed through disparate apps and documents, nine out of ten American women rely on simple note-taking apps to document their family's health. Trellis emerged to bridge this gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How&How's strategy is founded on the concept of "human-centered technology." The app's core function is to compile multi-generational medical histories into a single, unified record. How&How defines this as a "Living Blueprint" and has adopted it as a structural motif for the entire brand. The new visual language is built on a flexible grid system, designed to harmoniously arrange data and narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand's visual identity centers on warm, natural light photography. Images of pregnancy, childbirth, and everyday moments embrace diverse family types and ages, visually expressing Trellis' philosophy of "Generational Health." How & How added a fingerprint-inspired texture that gently wraps data and charts, symbolizing the individuality of each user. A closer look reveals the Trellis signature "T." This meticulous design, where personal traces become the brand's signature, beautifully visualizes the connection between technology and humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There's also been a significant shift in linguistic identity. How & How defines Trellis' brand voice as the "Voice of the Midwife," signifying a clear, courageous, and empathetic tone. This voice, which combines effective information delivery with warm comfort, builds trust with users while making complex medical information accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Trellis brand goes beyond a simple visual refresh to suggest a new direction for women's health tech. Recognizing that mothers are central to their families' health, the design embraces both technical perfection and emotional resonance. Built around the concept of "structure for health," this identity positions the app not just as a short-term management tool, but as a long-term companion that connects generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This rebranding demonstrates how deep trust and warmth can be conveyed when medical technology and design meet. Trellis has become a shining example of how technology can become human, translating data into human language within the complex healthcare environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
