{"id":53689,"date":"2025-11-06T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/designcompass.org\/?p=53689"},"modified":"2025-11-06T19:07:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T10:07:36","slug":"edifier-unveils-a-speaker-that-looks-like-a-computer-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/designcompass.org\/en\/2025\/11\/06\/edifier-unveils-a-speaker-that-looks-like-a-computer-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Edifier Unveils Speakers Resembling Computer Cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chinese audio manufacturer Edifier has unveiled the &#039;Huazhai New Cyber&#039;, a wireless speaker with a design reminiscent of the inside of a gaming PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It features a transparent case, exposed electronics, and RGB lighting that spins like a cooling fan, giving it the look of a miniature high-performance gaming desktop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside, the speaker features a 4-inch subwoofer, two 52mm mid- and high-frequency drivers, and three passive radiators, delivering rich bass and clear sound. The bottom is finished with fabric, while the top reveals the amplifier, power supply, and signal processor, designed to resemble the internal components of a PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The front features a 2.8-inch color display, which displays real-time CPU, GPU, and RAM usage when connected to a PC via USB. In Bluetooth mode, it can display lyrics, images, and custom messages for added visual enjoyment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also features fast charging via USB-A and USB-C ports, and supports Bluetooth 6.0 for lower latency and a wider range. You can also customize the 16.8 million colors and eight lighting effects to your liking via the TempoHub app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The product measures 293.6\u00d7150.7\u00d7213.6mm, similar to a bookshelf speaker, and is available in two colors: Aurora White and Phantom Black.
