Rivian has launched its micromobility brand, Also, and unveiled the "TM-B" electric bicycle. This product is not just an e-bike; it's a platform-based electric mobility solution, showcasing a new approach that combines Rivian's electric vehicle technology and design sensibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TM-B features the "DreamRide" chainless pedal-by-wire drive system. When the user pedals, a generator charges the battery, and a separate traction motor drives the rear wheel. Eliminating the mechanical chain and using electronic control, it delivers the acceleration sensation of an electric vehicle to a bicycle. This system delivers up to 180 Nm of torque, pedal-assisted top speeds of 45 km\/h, and regenerative braking for a range of up to 251 TP3T. The battery is available in two capacities, 538 Wh and 808 Wh, allowing for a range of up to 160 km, and can be fully charged in approximately three hours with a 240 W USB-C fast charger. External devices can also be charged via the two USB-C ports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TM-B's frame is designed with a fully modular structure, allowing it to be converted into cargo, child carrier, or cruiser mode in seconds, without tools. A 5-inch circular touchscreen is mounted in the center of the handlebar, allowing for seat height adjustment, unlocking, and changing riding modes. The inverted front fork and air shock suspension enhance stability and accommodate riders of all heights, from 150cm to 200cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Security features have also been enhanced. When the rider leaves the bike unattended, the battery, frame, and rear wheel are automatically locked, and GPS and LTE-based theft alerts and real-time location tracking are activated. If the bike is forcibly moved, a horn will sound, and the user can remotely disable the device completely. Rivian claims to have developed all its hardware and software in-house, making it impossible to hack or reassemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Launch Edition and Performance trims are expected to launch in the first half of 2026, with prices starting at $4,500 each, while the Base trim will be available in the second half of the same year for under $4,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the TM-B, Allso also unveiled the TM-Q, an electric quad bike, and the Alpha Wave Helmet, a smart helmet. The TM-Q is a pedal-assisted electric quad bike designed for bike paths. Designed for last-mile delivery and community mobility, some models will be supplied to Amazon Logistics. The Alpha Wave helmet features Rotational Shock Mitigation (RLS), integrated lighting, four-channel speakers, and a noise-canceling microphone. It connects to the TM-B console to control music, calls, and navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
