TimeDash, an app that reinterprets the sensibility of 1970s analog-digital clocks in a modern way, is gaining attention. Available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, TimeDash is a tool that visually visualizes data widgets, striving for a perfect balance of functionality and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TimeDash began as a project led by designers Vincent and Yohan, both from global design studios like Pentagram New York, Local Project, and Lava. Joined by experienced iOS developer Dimitri, the first version was released in 2021, and has since gained steady popularity among designers and tech enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Released in 2025, Timedash Widget 2 features a completely redesigned modular system. Users can select desired data points and freely combine colors and configurations. Step counts, weather, date, and health data can be managed on a single screen, allowing users to create their own dashboards as if assembling a brick. It's a kind of "productivity Lego.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app's visual language draws from the aesthetics of 1970s Japanese LCD watches, translating the analog-digital fusion spirit of Casio and Seiko's digital watches into today's interfaces. Each widget functions not simply as an information tool but as a design object, and special editions featuring cultural themes like Star Wars, pop art, and Dieter Rams-style minimalism are also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, even a single widget is infused with refined graphics and a physical feel, creating a lasting experience for users.
