Apple has unveiled the next generation of its wireless earphones, the AirPods Pro 3. The AirPods Pro 3 were officially announced at Apple's event on September 9, and will go on sale on September 19th. They will be priced at $249. They've been redesigned to be smaller and more stable than the previous model, and come in five different sizes with foam eartips for a better fit in the ear. They're also water and dust resistant with an IP57 rating, making them suitable for intense workouts and outdoor activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most prominent feature is Live Translate. Powered by Apple Intelligence, this feature translates what someone near you is saying in real time and plays it back through your Airpods. Your response is displayed on the iPhone screen in the other person's language and can also be spoken out loud. If you're both wearing compatible devices, you'll only hear the translation in your respective ears, making the conversation more immersive and natural. Currently available in English, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish, with four more languages, including Korean, to be added by the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AirPods Pro 3 can also measure your heart rate during exercise. The infrared sensor detects changes in blood flow and works with the iPhone Fitness app to track more than 50 types of exercise. When paired with Apple Fit Plus, you'll see your real-time heart rate, calories burned, and workout ring progress on screen for a more immersive workout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noise canceling has also been significantly enhanced, with up to 2x the noise cancellation of its predecessor and 4x that of the first generation model for immersive listening in any environment. Music playback time has been increased to up to 8 hours with ANC on. Up to 10 hours in transparency mode for even greater user convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hearing protection has also been enhanced. EU and UK certified to provide hearing protection modes in a wider range of areas, and automatically activate conversation amplification in noisy environments like restaurants to help you hear voices clearly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design is also environmentally conscious. The AirPods Pro 3 use 100 percent recycled cobalt in the battery, 65 percent recycled plastic in the case, and 40 percent of the entire product is made from recycled materials. The paper packaging is 100 percent fiber-based and easily recycled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
