Teenage Engineering from Stockholm, Sweden has announced the world's cheapest computer case. The product is called 'computer-2'. The price is zero dollars. That doesn't mean you can't buy it, it's actually being given away for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was created as part of the brand's 2025 year-long campaign, \"25 the flipped out year.\" computer-2 is a mini-ITX-sized case made from a single sheet of translucent polypropylene (PP) that is assembled by folding and snapping together by hand, without screws or tools. It features an intuitive and stress-free assembly process, almost like origami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teenage Engineering is a design-driven electronics brand known for its OP-1 synthesizer, Pocket Operator, OD-11 speaker, and more. Founded in 2005 by Jesper Kuthoofd, David Eriksson, Jens Ludberg, and later David Muellerstedt, they have become a favorite of creators around the world for their playful and innovative designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The COMPUTER-2 we introduced this week encapsulates the spirit of the brand. It delivers plenty of performance without metal parts or complicated design. Inside, you can install a mini-ITX motherboard, SFX power supply, and dual-slot GPUs up to 180mm long, and its compact shape makes it highly portable and maintainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking simplicity to the extreme, this case is lightweight and visually minimalist, making it a great choice for everyone from novice builders to veteran users who are tired of complicated hardware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
