Naver and Kakao have stepped in to make it easier for citizens to reserve public facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naver announced that it will support direct reservations by linking data from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for approximately 1,200 public sports facilities and conference rooms nationwide with Naver Place and Maps. Kakao also announced that it will open reservations for its 'Shared Nuri' service through KakaoTalk Reservation and Kakao Map starting on the 21st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

'Shared Nuri' is a service that allows citizens to directly search and reserve sports facilities such as soccer fields, futsal fields, tennis courts, and other facilities closely related to daily life, such as classrooms, conference rooms, and auditoriums, owned by central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions. Previously, reservations could only be made through the dedicated Shared Nuri homepage, but this linkage is expected to greatly improve accessibility and convenience for citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naver users can search for the desired facility name, such as a tennis court or conference room, on the web or map app to immediately check the list of available places, select a schedule, and make a reservation. KakaoTalk users can search for facilities through the 'Make a Reservation' menu in the More tab at the bottom, and easily make a reservation according to the desired time. Accessibility has been improved even further with the ability to make reservations through location-based search on Kakao Map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naver has also improved user convenience by linking public data to map services. For example, it has added a 'stairs avoidance route' function to walking directions to support the transportation disadvantaged, pregnant women, and the elderly to avoid stairs, and also provides warnings and response policies for various disaster situations in the form of cards on the map. Information on 112 'barrier-free sharing paths' across the country can also be easily checked on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kakao is also making various efforts to improve accessibility to public services. Kakao\u2019s Seo Seong-wook, the leader of the Reservation Tribe, said, \u201cWe have collaborated with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to enable easy reservation of public resources within KakaoTalk, which is used daily,\u201d and \u201cWe will continue to expand user benefits through various services.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this expanded service, which combines public data and private platforms to improve convenience, citizens are expected to be able to use a variety of public facilities more quickly and easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
