{"id":39286,"date":"2025-03-10T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-10T03:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/designcompass.org\/?p=39286"},"modified":"2025-03-11T09:48:17","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T00:48:17","slug":"pepsi-undercover-cups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/designcompass.org\/en\/2025\/03\/10\/pepsi-undercover-cups\/","title":{"rendered":"Undercover Cubs, Pepsi Change Burger Brand Store Drinks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pepsi recently released a video of its \u201cUndercover Cups\u201d campaign, in which it raided major burger chains across the United States and swapped out customers\u2019 drinks for Pepsi\u2019s products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pepsi went to McDonald&#039;s, Burger King, and Wendy&#039;s and took away customers&#039; Coke orders and gave them Pepsi instead. These brands are official partners with Coca-Cola. The campaign was released on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pepsi also introduced a design that changed the logo of the existing fast food brand through this campaign. Wendy&#039;s mascot changed the red hair to blue hair, which is Pepsi&#039;s representative color, and Burger King&#039;s logo was inserted with the phrase &quot;This is Pepsi.&quot; BBDO, which was in charge of Pepsi&#039;s creative marketing, is emphasizing the message &quot;Pepsi goes well with burgers&quot; through this campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Beverage Digest in June of this year, Dr. Pepper has overtaken Pepsi to become the second-largest soft drink brand in the United States. Pepsi is expected to continue its aggressive marketing to regain its lead in the highly competitive market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\"
