{"id":38579,"date":"2025-02-21T08:56:28","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T23:56:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/designcompass.org\/?p=38579"},"modified":"2025-02-21T09:00:10","modified_gmt":"2025-02-21T00:00:10","slug":"lisas-alter-ego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/designcompass.org\/en\/2025\/02\/21\/lisas-alter-ego\/","title":{"rendered":"Lisa&#039;s Alter Ego, Blackpink Lisa Comics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BLACKPINK&#039;s Lisa is expanding on the concept of her debut solo album &#039;Alter Ego&#039; with a graphic novel. &#039;Lisa&#039;s Alter Ego: The Official Comic&#039; explores the themes of the album and her different personas and will be released by Lisa&#039;s self-published imprint, Lalisa Comics. The book was produced in partnership with Zero Zero Entertainment, which specializes in media monetization and artist merchandise collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The graphic novel&#039;s artwork was done by Japanese illustrator and animator MinoMiyabi. The story is tied to the five identities that appear in the album &#039;Alter Ego&#039;. The main character Vixi is trapped in a virtual reality nightmare due to cyberbullying, and the other personas fight to save her. The main personas also appear in the album&#039;s video teaser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa revealed that the idea for &#039;Alter Ego&#039; came from experimenting with different musical styles. The album is out on February 28th and the graphic novel is out on March 24th. It is available for pre-order now from Lalisa Comics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa isn&#039;t the first rapper to try her hand at comics. Ghostface Killah released a comic to tie in with his 10th album, Twelve Reasons To Die, and 50 Cent released a graphic novel detailing his secrets to business success.
