At the &#039;Genesis Motorsports Premiere&#039; event held at the Armani Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on the 4th (local time), Genesis unveiled its racing team &#039;Genesis Magma Racing&#039; and its high-performance racing car &#039;GMR-001 Hypercar&#039;. The logo utilizing the Korean initials of the Magma brand that was also revealed stands out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Genesis will enter two cars in the 2026 World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the 2027 WeatherTech Sports Car Championship (WTSCC). The GMR-001 hypercar unveiled this time features Genesis\u2019 signature two-line design and aerodynamic structure, as well as a variable spoiler at the rear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Genesis has signed Andre Lotterer and Luis Felipe Derani as its racing team drivers. Lotterer is a veteran with 84 wins, while Derani has won the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer of Hyundai Motor Group, said, \u201cMotorsports are an opportunity to strengthen the progressive values of the Genesis brand.\u201d Song Min-gyu, Head of Genesis Business Division, emphasized, \u201cWe will apply the technology acquired through motorsports to mass-produced vehicles,\u201d and \u201cIt will elevate the Genesis brand status to the next level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img
