The 22nd Seoul Design Festival is being held for 4 days from Wednesday, December 20 to Saturday, December 23, 2023. It is open from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays and closes 30 minutes early at 6 PM on Saturdays. The Seoul Design Festival is a design exhibition that opened in 2002 based on the content of the monthly magazine 'Design' published since 1976 and the design field network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, a variety of designers participated, including various design brands, young designers, and illustrators. In addition to design and craft fields that directly design media, educational institutions and media that influence the creative industry also participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 'Young Designer Promotion', where new designers can self-brand and promote themselves, is also impressive. This is a program that has produced 950 rookies over 21 years, and this year, 40 teams and 51 young designers participated. 13 design brands shared illustrations and design goods with the theme of illustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We asked 100 people, \u201cWhat is a good space for you?\u201d with the space archive platform heyPOP, and introduced the 100 places they recommended. The Global Design Seminar included answers to notable questions such as eating designer Marie Voheljaang's 'Eating Design' that uses food as a medium, Helsinki-based design duo COMPANY's project to modernize traditional crafts, and LG's art marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monthly <Design> theme hall consists of \u2018AI Resonance: Thinking Mycelium\u2019, \u2018Responsible Design: Reuse of Materials\u2019, and \u2018Exhibition of 3 Young Designers of All Time: Baek Jong-hwan, Lee Seok-woo, Choi Jung-ho\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a wonderful exhibition hosted by Design House, which plays a big role in promoting Korean design. It is one of the representative events that highlights and introduces notable topics and designers.
