This is the brand design for the astrology app Nebula. It has expanded from an astrology app into a broader platform for self-exploration. While the original Nebula was known for astrological features such as birth charts and horoscopes, a brand was needed to encompass a broader direction as its services expanded to include Tarot, rituals, and spiritual guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this project, design studio Moving Brand transformed Nebula from a "service for viewing the universe" into a "space for exploring the inner self." Accordingly, the strategy shifted from "outer space" to "inner space," and the core of the brand was established by recognizing that users desire flexibility, emotional empathy, and a presence they can rely on at any time, rather than definitive answers or definitive interpretations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By appropriately expressing the concepts of the outer and inner universes, as well as people and their inner selves, the brand's intended worldview was naturally connected. Multiple shapes were layered within a human face to represent the inner state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I created an overall calm and serene atmosphere by utilizing colors reminiscent of the night, and expressed the sensation of delving deep into a person's inner self through gradients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
