Chong Kun Dang Unveils New CI in Celebration of 84th Anniversary

Pharmaceutical company Chong Kun Dang has unveiled a new corporate identity (CI) for the first time in 50 years to mark its 84th anniversary. The new CI enlarges the bell symbol, which is Chong Kun Dang’s symbol, and enlarges the slogan font.

The new symbol departs from the existing hexagonal and cross structures, and maintains the symbol of the 'bell' that has been used since the 1960s, while expanding the diameter of the circular border and enhancing the readability of the text inside. One of the most noticeable changes in the CI is the font. Chong Kun Dang introduced the 'Chong Kun Dang Mirae Font' developed by the company, which gives a soft yet powerful impression based on the harmony of Dotum and Gulim.

Through this CI change, Chong Kun Dang actively realizes its brand slogan, “Creative K-healthcare DNA,” and presents its corporate vision of “realizing a healthy life through pharmaceutical technology innovation from prevention to treatment, from one person to all of humanity.” Chairman Lee Jang-han emphasized that the new CI will be an opportunity to expand its position in the global market.

This renewal is not limited to the logo and font, but is reflected in all aspects, including the external signage of the headquarters and branches nationwide, office supplies, and product packaging. Through this, Chong Kun Dang plans to secure brand consistency and future orientation at the same time.
