To use on mobile, tap the 'More' button at the top of the email and tap the 'Translate' option. A banner with a light background color appears at the top of the email. Click the 'Translate to Language' button to translate your email. You can also view the original by pressing the 'Show original' button. If the translated language is different from the Google.com mail display language, the option will reappear.
You can close the banner if you don't want to translate it. You can also choose not to translate certain languages when closing the banner.
Gmail automatically detects when translation is needed and displays a translation banner. If the translation is rejected or the system cannot detect another language, you can manually translate the message with the More button.
The feature has not been released yet. Android will gradually release from August 8th, and iOS will gradually release from August 21st. Its usability is similar to that of a PC, so it would be nice to try it out in advance.
